When you call our office, we will set up an initial consultation. During your consultation, we will discuss areas of concern and talk about the best treatments for these areas. If you and your doctor decide that CoolSculpting is the right choice, you will make your appointment for the treatment session.
During Your CoolSculpting Treatment
CoolSculpting treatments are an easy procedure. Not including your consultation, you can expect the treatment itself to last between 1 and 3 hours. This will depend on how many areas your practitioner is treating and how large the area is.
During treatment, we will put a gel pad on your skin to make sure it is protected during the treatment. Then the device will be applied to the treatment area. You will start to feel a tugging or pulling sensation as the vacuum lifts your skin into the device. It is also common to feel a cold sensation and some tingling. Let us know if you experience any discomfort during the process and we can adjust the treatment.
If you have a larger area that needs to be treated, the process will be repeated on each section of fat. Once we are done, you will be able to go back to work, school, or any other activities that you have planned. You can even resume your normal workout routine.
After Your CoolSculpting Treatment
