What is Dysport®?
To help smoothen moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, Dysport® is a specialized formula that can help rejuvenate your skin from these troublesome signs of aging. Unlike some injectables, Dysport® only targets the area of injection, leaving you in control of your facial movements instead of the other way around.
How does Dysport® work?
As we contract our facial muscles over time, they become more defined through our skin as our skin loses volume. Dysport® can treat moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrows by slowing down these muscle’s movements and reducing their contractions. During the treatment, Dysport® will be injected into 5 points above and between the brows to temporarily reduce these muscles activity, but will not affect the remainder of the face. You’ll still be in total control of your facial muscles instead of them stiffening your look.
How long do the effects of Dysport® last?
Since every patient has different body chemistry, results will differ from person to person. Typically, Dysport® results can help smooth away frown lines for up to 4 months.
What can I expect from the Dysport® process?
The Dysport® treatment usually takes between 10-20 minutes. Many patients will be able to notice smoother-looking skin within 2-3 days after Dysport® has been administered. There is minimal downtime necessary for recovery, so after treatment, patients will be able to resume their schedules.
