What Does a Non-Surgical Nose Job Involve?
A non-surgical nose job simply involves administering Radiesse® injections. Radiesse® is a dermal filler composed of an aqueous gel containing calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. The Radiesse® solution forms a lattice that adds volume and reshapes the nose, and it also stimulates the production of collagen. The effects can last for over a year. Radiesse® also contains a local anesthetic called lidocaine, which helps to make the treatment more comfortable for the client.
Juvederm® and BOTOX® can also be used in non-surgical nose jobs. Non-surgical nose jobs take just minutes to perform, and they can address such imperfections as bumps or hollows.
What Do Acne Treatments Involve?
Perfect Skin Center offers several different acne treatments, and our specialist will recommend one based on the severity of the acne and its contributing factors, among other considerations. Many patients in Tempe and Scottsdale will need a combination of treatments to take care of their acne.
Acne medications can be topical or systemic. The topical treatments include retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, astringents and even cleansers including some soaps. Systemic treatments are taken orally and include some antibiotics, Accutane and some hormonal therapies.
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) can help people with mild to moderate acne. The patient is given a medication called Levulan that will increase their sensitivity to light. They then spend a set amount of time under a blue light. PDT slows the production of skin oils, kills the bacteria, and unclogs pores by exfoliating the skin. Thermage® is yet another acne treatment that we offer at Perfect Skin Center.
